I am an alto, but I only sing when alone, like when in the shower, or outside planting seeds in the garden alone, or something like that. I sing on pitch, but have no vibrato and sound pretty terrible.

I am a Lyric Baritone and I sing solos for weddings, funerals, church services and also used to sing Lead in a Barbershop Quartet. I have sung for audiences of as many as 10,000 people and did the National Anthem in our Coliseum.

That is so cool, oldbuddy. I am a former Sweet Adeline and I love barbershop music.  :in-love: I was a tenor in the group.

If I sing in a regular choir, I am a soprano. Love to sing. I think it's good exercise too; for your lungs.

I sing in the car, in the shower, and when I am alone in the house.  No one would want to hear it.  I can't hold a tune in a basket but I still like to sing along to some of my favorite songs or with some of my favorite singers.  I imagine myself having the talent.

I sing along with the radio or a piano and I'm sure my range is alto.

I usually sing in the car with the radio.  I was a soprano when I was younger; however, now I go with whatever happens most naturally considering the song.  If the melody is being sung by a man I will probably do my best to harmonize.

Have a great day!

Only in the car along with the radio when I'm alone.  Sometimes at home, when I'm alone.   I am also completely tone deaf.  When I was in junior high (many many years ago) I was in the school chorus, it was very large, maybe 150 kids.  When it came time to rehearse for the Christmas concert, our instructor was mid stage on the piano.  Because I was one of the shorter ones I was in the first row right behind the teacher.   After the first rehearsal he wanted to talk to me, he asked me not to sing but rather "mouth" the words.  First case of "lip syncing".   From that moment on I never sang in front of anyone.    That was in the late 60's.   Then one day on Facebook, lo and behold, our chorus teacher was on and friend me, along with many others from our school days.   I told him the story of that Christmas concert and asked him if he remembered it.   He did not and the nicest thing, he apologized over and over.   Said he was a young teacher at that time and should never had said that to a student.  Said he should have taken the time to "teach" me.   Made me feel really good.

I definitely sing, and I am a confirmed shower singer, one of those who imagines they are putting on a fantastic concert. But I'd say I have a very average voice. I just like how singing makes me feel though.

I have been told I am an alto, but I do not consider myself a singer at all!
