merle haggard passed away today at the age of 79 he will be missed dearly i always loved his music rip merle haggard

He was one of my favorite singers. Of course i grew up in that age of good country music and he was also a great gospel singer. He will be missed

I had free tickets to see him recently at a local casino but did not go. It is not my kind of music. my thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends

I saw him and George Jones in concert once a long time ago. They just don't make them like that anymore
