Yes, I like almost every kind of pie.    I love me some good pumpkin and peach but I am not choosy when it comes to pie.  I guess I'm not crazy about blueberry or chocolate cream but almost all the others I can eat way too much when it is sitting in front of me.

Apple pie is easily my favorite pie among them all!  I don't usually care for ice cream with my pie.  My mom eats her with a slice of melted cheese on the top, but I haven't been adventurous enough to try that.  If you are ever in NorthCentral Ohio, there is an AWESOME bakery called Troyer's in the heart of Amish country that makes the best purchased apple pie I've ever had.  The apples in the filling are diced and that texture made a world of difference in my opinion.


Irony or coincidence or not, Troyer's is located in a town called Apple Creek!

Our local bakery in our grocery store has a really good apple pie - two versions - one with regular crust and one with crumb topping.  I don't make homemade.  But I do like apple pie a lot sometimes it is what we have for breakfast lol.

I like apple pie but I like cherry pie and strawberry buy more. I like most pies.

I do like apple pie, but I don't like to make it myself.  The shell and crust are too much work to get that fork-flaky texture.  I know there are terrific cooks out there that have mastered that skill.  But if it's store bought at mass grocery stores I usually find myself scooping the filling out in a bowl and topping with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
