Anyone else don't answer their phone?

If I don't recognize the number I won't answer the phone I just say leave a message.

I don't answer it if the number is not familiar.

I never answer my phone either. It is usually solicitors calling anyway. My cell phone is the only phone that I use now, but I still have my home phone to give to bill collectors, solicitors, etc.

I never answer a call if I do not know who is calling. I get too many "junk" calls".
The IRS never calls, So that one is a scam and old one at that. There is something on the IRS website  regarding scams.

I have a landline phone that I have to have because my internet connection relies on it. Talk about old technology! But I never answer the landline phone because all the calls are from scammers and requesting donations to various organizations. I pay a fee to ma bell every month to keep the number unlisted only to find out last week that the number is plastered all over the internet.

I prefer to text or talk in person than use the phone in general. And I very rarely answer the phone unless I recognize who is calling. If I happen to miss anyone else, they can always leave a message, I figure. There are just too many annoyances over the phone and distractions otherwise.

Same here...rarely answer if i don't recognize the number, especially if the person or business never leave a message.

It's kind of a pet peeve of mine when people do this.  But i am guilty as well, sometimes you just need to do you and can't be bothered by the world's problems.

I screen all my calls and if I don't recognize the number I don't answer.

Most of the time I don't answer unrecognized numbers. Then once in awhile I'll pickup and its always a  telemarketer or solicitation for a donation.

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. I have an iPhone and can block all the scammers, sales people, etc.

I am the same way but once in a while my doctor's office calls me and they call on a weird number so I do try and answer if I think someone might be calling me even if I don't know the number.

I don't answer the phone unless I know who is calling either. I still have a landline, and its sad because 99% of the calls I get are from robocalls, someone taking donations etc

Thank goodness for caller ID, I figure if its important they will leave a message

I do not answer most of the time unless I know who it is.  This year even with the do not call stuff we get calls to work on our home, give us a loan, IRS, telling us who to vote for....it is just non stop.
