fjaz1, I don't think it's necessary to be so rude.  ;) :)

I don't have many television channels, and mostly stick to watching just a handful. Normally reruns of different shows, so it's not all that interesting anymore. I would love to have the money to buy more DVD collections, or at least sign up for something like Netflix.

Cable TV got so high that I bought a new flat screen TV after Thanksgiving last year and got an antania that tacks to the wall and I have 18 channels.  Now I don't have to pay to watch tv anymore.  Hope everyone has a good day and may God bless everyone and keep you safe. :)

Cut out my cable for just internet since I don't watch cable & spend all my time on the net. Still really expensive after cutting out about $200 from the Comcast plan but still feel like I'm being robbed blind! Wish there were other choices than Comcast!

That was suck.  I get the basic also.  We don't watch TV that much so it's a waste of money.

That is thing that I despise about cable companies: a million channels, 90% of which are nonsense and that you will never watch but have no choice but to purchase in order to watch a few interesting HD channels. I remember when I had Time Warner Cable, and I was paying well over $200 for their pathetic cable services. Never again!

I am also ready for the new season to begin, I agree it has been hard to find things to watch; a lot of reruns! Cable is just so expensive, so I am looking into options to cut our bill but still be able to watch some of the things we watch on cable; it is way over priced and i have heard of other ways to watch but will need to explore.

I was really stupid. I had "digital" Comcast cable. I liked it and had enough channels with their Preferred, but they talked me into Xfinity. I have had NOTHING but problems every month, either with the TV, the phone, or the internet (i have the bundle). I complain to support but it's the same thing every month. Now they're saying i need to have the tech guys come to the house....again. Why? They put in all new cable lines, new modem, new box, everything is new. Then they told me I live too far from the street. C'mon. are they running out of excuses???? The neighbor's home is more than 100 feet further from the street than I am and they have no problem.

I wanted to go back to digital, but they told me they are dropping the digital boxes, etc. Oh - there's another weird thing. In my old office, I have a plain basic box. TV never goes out, but the TV with Xfinity box does go out quite often.

I'm satisfied with the channels I get in the old office because they are the ones I watch most of the time.  They're telling me I can't downgrade, so I've been looking for alternatives. Plus, i probably wouldn't get Xfinity commercials every 5 minutes.

I pay an outrageous amount for the bundle to watch approximately 10 channels. I'm supposed to be thrilled with all the movie channels - not HBO or any like that, but Reelz, StarzEncore, and lots of sports but I wish I had alternatives. Comcast is a monopoly in my county. I've thought about Dish or DirectTV but we have a lot of trees surrounding the house and property. It's a losing fight.
