We get fairs around here, but it seems like they're pretty much just in nearby towns and not ours. Actually, there's one coming up later this month through the beginning of October and I really want to go. I can't remember when the last time was that I did anything like that.

I loved going to the fair when I was younger but I haven't been in years and that isn't likely to change anytime soon.  Maybe if I have kids one day.

Our fair was here last week.  It's funny, as kids we went on the rides, as teens we tried to win the prizes at different stands, as we got older we just eat our way through!

Haven't been to either in years. Just seems to have gotten nasty.

I like both but I would say carnival the best maybe - but I can't go to either one because of health and mobility issues - I would have to be able to have one of those electric carts.  I miss going to stuff like that like I did when my kids were growing up.  Oh well I just make the best of life no matter what it brings.

The small county fair is coming up this weekend just up the road from where I live. We've never been, so my hubby and I were discussing going to see what they have. Then the big state fair starts at the end of this month, and I dunno if we're going this year. Usually we go if there's a band playing that we both like and we'll spend the day walking around and trying food samples, but there's no one this year worth going to see for either of us.

I can't remember the last time I was at either one. I suppose they both have their draws. I'd probably have more fun at carnival's if I were younger.

I enjoy them too.

The rides, the food, then exhibits.

Excellent way to spend an evening.
