Clowns!!

It is not happening that much.  Just been a few times.  Supposedly it has happened about 45 minutes from where I live.  I am not worried about it.  I don't venture out at night.  If I meet one in my driveway when I go out to go to work I am guessing he will need an ambulance. lol

We had a lock-down at one of the schools in our district where my children attend which prompted all schools in lock-down mode twice this week because of some people dressed as clowns carrying weapons. I thought it was just some kind of non sense but now I read yours and my brother in Vegas reported the same with people dressed as clowns carrying weapons on school grounds. What is happening in America?

That's terrible. This is the first I've heard about these clowns. Sounds pretty creepy. My husband has a clown phobia. When he was a kid his dad took him to McDonald's when they had Ronald statues sitting on a bench. His parents wanted to get a picture of him with it and he freaked out. Years later a guy dressed as Ronald McDonald tries to hug him and he decked the clown. After we began dating a clown tried to shake his hand and he just told the clown that he'd go away if he enjoyed eating without a straw. So, naturally I had to take him to Ripley's Haunted Adventure in Gatlinburg, TN. I promised him that there were no live characters so he agreed. He screamed all the way through as the live actors chased him around and grabbed at his feet. I never laughed so hard. I just knew he was going to kill me.

OMG..I am cracking up at your story! lol ... sorry but it's funny. poor guy... he needs to get rid of his fear of clowns though. Buy him a clown doll and let him punch it in its face. lol

It's a scary world out there now a days! And yes! My son had a lock-down at this school on Friday as well because of a "clown sighting" near the middle school. Crazy stuff out there and it's terrible how it has put Americans in fear and most have a phobia as it is with clowns! It's a nightmare out there and sorry to disappoint my son but Halloween in my house is cancelled until I see Bozo's head on a mount! lol

Has any of the clown attacks turned out to NOT be a hoax? Every clown attack I have seen reported is followed a couple days later with someone being charged with filing a false police report.

What do you mean a hoax?  I had not seen any that were a false report.  There were 2 people arrested not far from where I live.
