My GF's daughter kept talking about being a cat for Halloween this year ever since school started. The last few years anything Frozen was her favorite topic (esp. since her long, blonde hair and bright blue eyes made her a perfect Elsa to begin with), but this year it has been cats and dogs, esp. after watching The Secret Life of Pets with her earlier this summer. So of course after getting her a cat costume, she suddenly decides that she wants to be a witch instead (go figure). At least I made it easy for my mom when I was growing up; I think I was Batman 3 or 4 years in a row!

BTW, I'll be dressing up in an 80's outfit (similar to Judd Nelson's tough-guy John Bender in The Breakfast Club) complete with checkerboard-laced Air Jordans, fingerless leather gloves, ripped Levis, Star Wars: New Hope t-shirt, and the ubiquitous Jordache Jeans denim jacket with a pocket Simon sticking out.

My daughter is going as a butterfly.  She was going to to be Mal... from descendants but I don't support the cost of costumes and since she couldn't come up with something in the $10 range from the goodwill... she opted for going with something different.    The public school she goes to banned weapons, facepaint and scary clowns.

My grandson is going as a  Knight in shining armour.He's 5 so just the right age to really have fun. first parade at school at also.

My son is goin as Dipper from Gravity Falls for school and then changing it up as an evil hockey player for trick o'treating.

My oldest is going as a dead clown and my youngest will be Pikachu. And of course I will be a tired mom, LOL!
