Wine
« on: November 01, 2016, 08:59:14 am »
Anybody have any recommendations for a good wine.  My coworker loves wine, not dry at all, but not real sweet.  Just something on the 'light' sweet side, if there is something like that.  Thanks for any help you can give me.

A cabernet is nice.

I'd agree that cab's can be somewhat sweet, but I wouldn't say it's light; cab's tend to have a deep, dark fruit flavor like dark cherries, plums, etc. Pinot Noir would have a lighter fruit flavor, although some of them can be a little more acidic than sweet. A White Zinfandel may also be a good choice, being a wine from a red grape but do to its processing isn't as bold as a (red) Zinfandel; however some white Zin's can also be somewhat dry (although still sweet).
