I did not vote for him, I do not agree with his views.  I come from a country that a few years back elected a billionaire with no political background also, the country believed that because of that, he could do good for it and it was a total disaster, he stole and did worse that the "regular Politicians" had ever done.  That been said, I am a bit nervous at what Mr. Trump will do for this country. I believe he honestly wants to work to make this country great again, he's a billionaire and in this country there are lots of checks and controls so he does not have to steal from us, so I do not think he's doing this for the money. But his lack of political experience worries me some and some of his ideas are really scary, but I will give him a chance and hope for the best.

I just want all the hate to stop, for good or bad he is going to be the President come January and is nothing that can be done about it.  Just stop with the protest from the one side and the racism chants and discrimination from the other.  I am a US Citizen born from a Military person, married to an Spanish lady, grew up in an Spanish country and learned to love both countries.  And it makes me really mad when because of my married last name and accent I am treat it as if I am scum and illegal.  Please stop all the hate from both sides of the aisle.

It feels good finally being able to say that. :D

Now if all the sore losers would quit protesting and get a life, we could all move on from this election.  ::)

I am not a sore loser and I have  life.   What I am really tired of is the Trump supporters calling us names or lumping us all into one group.   I respect your right to your choice and I would appreciate the same respect for mine.   During this entire election season  I have not ONCE called a Trump supporter a name, here, on facebook or any other blog I belong to, yet I am constantly being berated because I had a different political view and supported the candidate that I believed would support the issues that are important to me.   Let's see some mutual respect, please.

The irony in this is strong. It was Hillary herself that bashed Trump supporters. The whole campaign centered around vilifying anyone who supported him.

Also, to be clear, I believe you when you say that you haven't attacked a Trump supporter and that they have harassed you instead. People can be awful.

To be fair, both parties ran a campaign centered around identity politics rather than ideological differences. And it doesn't help when supporters of the "opposing side" are grouped together. No, not all conservatives are racist, sexist, and homophobic. And no, not all liberals are commies, spendthrifts, and crybabies. I am rather upset with all of the "protests", however... Not that I don't want people to protest or take away their freedom of expression, but rather that protesting a valid election is ridiculous. If Trump, once he get inaugurated into office does some action that you feel is a violation of another's rights, then feel free to protest that action. But until Trump's actions actually cause harm, then give him a chance to prove who he really is. Also, remember that your freedoms extend to the tip of my nose; if your protests / dissent involves vandalism, preventing emergency vehicles quick access by blocking freeways / interstates, beating others, etc. then you are not exercising your freedom of expression -- you are in fact just a thug.

Yes..stop the protesting and promoting hate and fear!! You are just perpetuating the situation. And stop causing so much traffic and blocking all the roads so people can go on with their lives without having to make detours.

So the protesters caused a man to die by blocking an ambulance from getting down the street. So by protesting a man who hasn't even taken office, you've now got blood on your hands. Disgusting.

Google JediJohnnie and May the Force be with you!

It is time to give him a chance and put all the nonsense behide us. I think if the news media would just shut up, some of this stuff would go away and things would be fine. It is time for us to move forward.

Give him the same chance given to Obama?  Actually Trump isn't as scary as some of the people he is surrounding him self with starting with Mike Pence and Bannon. I really hope he hires Romney.  I so admired Obama for Hiring Republicans and even keeping on a couple of the Bush team during his transition/1 st years.
I was really afraid what was going to happen if Hillary won,  they were interviewing on the new around here the armed militias that were training up to be ready to fight for the "stolen" election.
When this is the second time a president has lost the popular vote and this time by 1,000,000 and counting people are going to be upset.

I didn't vote for the guy but he is my President starting next year. We all should avoid the contentions and focus on our individual families so we can begin the healing and supporting process. A house divided will never stand! We need unity America! Stop the violence!
