First time applying color hair rinse to my hair

In a few hours, I am going to apply a hair rinse to my hair. I am slowing trying to ease out of getting a relaxer and just do a press and curl and color myself for awhile.

I know some of the tips I was given via utube and the beauty store reps are to wash my hair first, use vaseline around the edges, use gloves, a brush, a shower cap, part my hair in four parts and apply the color.

We will see how it goes?

When i've my hair colored they say  use on unwashed hair. Using a shower cap is a good idea. i've ending up with hair color on my neck and face and on the sink i was using.Getting off the sink was the worst.

I wear old clothes as well when doing my hair

I do all of that also but I also have my daughter help me as it is too hard for me to hold my arms up that high for the length of time it takes to color my hair

Good luck on applying a colored hair rinse to your hair.  Don't forget to do a deep protein conditioner on your hair
to prevent breakage and dryness.
