I volunteer at a thrift shop as soon as we get them in Christmas sweaters are out the door. To me "ugly" is in the eye of the beholder. Now you can have a ugly sweater party that includes a yankee swap.I guess anything goes when celebrating the holiday season! :peace: :santa: :wave:

This trend of the "ugly sweater" is amazing to me.  It used to be a big deal to find an attractive, unusual holiday-themed sweater to wear to be noticed at a party -- a high-end purchase.  You would agonize over getting the right sweater and something no one else would be wearing.  Well, I guess I'm behind the times and things have evolved into the many holiday-themed sweaters that are downright unattractive, rude, politically incorrect, etc. to get attention.  I hope I don't appear to be a fuddy-duddy here because the ugly sweater parties sound like a fun way to swap 'em (but you'd only wear it doing housework, right?).  :santa:
