Sick at Christmas Time
« on: December 23, 2016, 01:29:07 am »
I have been sick for a bout a week and this close to Christmas day.  If I dont get well I will not be able to cook for my family.  Just pray that I can get over this mess so I can enjoy
Christmas this year.  Hope everyone has a good day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe. :)

I know a few other people who are battling sickness. I hope you feel better soon.

the holidays are a hard time of year.
loved ones pass away before the holiday.
it's hard to celebrate a holiday and go through all the arrangements for the funeral at the same time. I know a family who lost their father just yesterday.
Another lost their mother a few days ago.
you just have to keep going through even in sorrow.
some people do recover from illness in time for the holidays.
I have a friend who has to spend the holidays in the hospital recovering from a heart condition.
All kinds of things happen at any given time.

I was afraid that I was coming down with something last weekend (started to get a throat "tickle"), so I just went into prevent-mode by taking more Vit. C and Zinc and I think that did the trick. Hopefully you will feel better by the time Christmas rolls around... Merry Christmas!

Been having allergy problems so feeling sick not sleeping well. Luckily my son will cook and shop for Christmas dinner  he will make someone a great husband someday. When you don't feel well at Christmas littlwe things don't matter that much and big things don't matter.I decorated but didn't enjoy that much.

I know how that goes. 2 years ago my whole family had the stomach flu. And I do mean every family member I have living here in CO. It was awful. Feel better soon!

I feel your pain 100%. I am on bed rest because of an accident that was not my fault. My entire vacation and christmas were cancelled. Sigh.

Maybe next year will be awesome to make up for this year.

I hope you recovered from your illness and were able to enjoy your family.

Our youngest daughter got food poisoning Thursday night and was sick all Friday.  She was ok by Saturday, Christmas Eve Day, which is when we got together to celebrate Christmas this year.

I am sick too. I have some kind of sinus infection that I had to go to the doctor in Philly that I was refereed to by allergist. I am now on antibiotics for the next month. It was really bad.
