Have you tried trivago to book a hotel? I have not tried yet, but I am intetested in trying if I go out of town this year.

I looked at trivago.com last year when my brother-in-law came to visit and he needed a hotel room near the airport on the day he was leaving here. But hotels.com revealed a lot more less expensive hotels than trivago.com did, so I switched to hotels.com and did better there price-wise.

I usually check all of the online deals, call my booking agent and they give me about 15 % off the lowest price the online deals give. I am happy with this. :)

It's expensive.  I didn't see any discounts there.  I always use Priceline and find good deals with them.  I use Hotwire occasionally but 90% of the time I go with Priceline.

i like to shop around to get best price. Priceline is my  favorite one.

i have never used them but would probably do a lot of comparing before i just pick one site --lots of deals out there if you shop around
