Yes, this is a hoax.  His brother, Charlie, passed away last week or so.

I totally hate fake news and false rumors.  They even had Morgan Freeman dead at one point.  That's why I check multiple websites that use different sources before believing in something like this.  Most websites will have you believing your dead.
