Favorite Store To Wander?
« on: May 04, 2017, 02:16:43 pm »
I just recently went to Ikea for the first time and I wandered through there for about 2 hours.  I could have spent longer if I was not with someone else who does not particularly like to shop.  I wish Ikea was located more conveniently to me so I could go there about every few months, but it is a good hour through some heavy traffic and unfamiliar areas.

What store do you like to wander for entertainment or just to take up some time?  How much time do you usually spend when you visit this store?

After working in retail for almost 20 years, i do not like to go into a store and just wander around. Get in get what i want and get out. Hubby loves it. Because i am in and out as fast as i can be. I  don't like the crowds nor just  senseless  wandering around.  Now my sis  can go into a store and be in there  a long time just doing that. need;ess tp say she and i do not go shopping together.

Barnes and Noble bookstore. I love to read, and I can never get enough books! Sometimes, I will go into Barnes and Noble and just browse around all the books and see what inspires me.

I have been wanting to go there too. My daughter went and she loved it. Where I live we don't have one.  :-\

I like Ikea too, the showroom is nice to walk through and the marketplace is filled with things that I didn't know I need until I see them XD

My favorite type of store to wander around in is garden nursery.  It's especially nice right now with all the blooming flowers!

I too love to wander through Ikea. I even like the basement of that store where all the stuff is stored on huge shelving. But other stores I love just to walk through are Costco and BJ's. It is so much fun to see what is new on the market in foods and electronics. The bakery and meat departments are special favorites there.

Local garden center is the only one that holds my attention.

Hate crowds, and have very little cash to spend.  I generally make it quick.

However, the garden center does keep me in the aisles for a good amount of time.

Do love to garden, my happy place.

I enjoy browsing a good Garden Center.  I love the flowers and blooming trees.  I'm looking for some bushes that will attract butterflies this year.

Oh gosh - that sounds like a trip I went on last night.  My intent was to go to Michaels....as I had a gift card to use.  I ended up hitting JoAnn's, Hobby Lobby and Home depot too.  Hobby Lobby is probably my favorite to wander.

Yes, I like some of the places mentioned here too.  Ikea was new and different and I can tell I could spend 3-4 hours there every 2-3 months.  However, Barnes and Noble, nurseries, and stores like Menard's and Lowe's have been known to keep me there for quite some time.  Sometimes it's just nice to wander aimlessly, daydream, and get away from home.
