Posting Irony
« on: May 31, 2017, 10:57:07 pm »
Doing my posting at the end of the month, I wanted to see if anyone said anything about the Manchester terror attack and yes someone did and I did reply to it along with fewer than 20 people :o  It is quite ironic that a subject as serious as that gets so few responses, but some lame person asks what your favorite color or tv show is and it gets hundreds of responses hmmm?  Still  haven't seen anyone post about that piece of garbage Kathy Griffin yet but when they do I can't wait to see what kind of person on here would defend or support that behavior 8)

Most ppl are just tired of depressing news & just want to take a break from that type of media.

Then why do people post about their personal problems on here tantricia?  I don't need to hear about their problems when we all have our own but when a serious issue arises I guess the intellectual level on here isn't  equipped to discuss it even though it is a forum for discussion 8)

Posting numerous mindless topics repeatedly is much easier than to reply without using our God-given brain. Unfortunately it's quantity over quality like watching mindless soap opera. >:(

Also could be that many of us had our post done for May (as I did ) and did not see this until today.  It is a tragic what is happening  all across the globe and just wish people would start acting like humans to each other and do something nice for a change.  But you rarely hear about the good things on the news.

It's gotten so that there is something bad happening everyday  and it's so depressing.  I think more people are aware what is going on but we as humans are not perfect.

I haven't been on here much to comment on anything.  I think maybe people shy away from things that make them uncomfortable. It's easier to comment on things that have no importance than things that are serious.

I figure if I want to see the "news",  I can flip on a tv or read a paper.  I haven't in years though because it's hard to get the "facts" without agenda.  No thanks.

I avoid the personal posts on social media where people are posting their personal problems, spreading negativity, drama, b.s. and whatever else for attention.  I'm highly allergic to all that & after all.... FC only pays ten cents a post.

Most people have their life style agenda.  It's not so much that not a lot is being said about it, it's just that people don't want to hear about sad news.  Each night on the news, something awful has happened.

I agree with you 110%! She gets what she deserves at this point.

I think that a lot of people come to fusioncash to escape the tripe that gets passed as news. Whether you go to Fox and read news that is ninety percent pro-Trump or CNN that is ninety percent anti-trump, it is hard to find news that isn't a propaganda campaign. I put no faith in Celebrities that get involved-period. They all seem to be trying to out do one another, especially those who's careers have gone stagnant. Is Kathy Griffin any more abhorrent than Rush Limbaugh? Johnny Depp any more repugnant than Hannity? We live in a media age and it is nice to come to Fusion cash and not be exposed to the media brain wash. I find talking about favorite colors, butterflies, tv shows, whatever refreshing. There are posting opportunities aplenty, or those craving media vomit, found immediately after the end of articles found on the internet.
