i don't care to have a robot around,,  they make me uneasy  lol  I'm sure they would be fine for someone else  just not me. for someone with a disability or the elderly  I would say Yes they might be good for them

This is a constant thing about the boundaries with humans on AIs. Some more light hearted (kind of) is Centennial man. But ther other side would be what is the Matrix where there is a takeover. Personally, I still find is eerie creepy.

Seen this robot on tv when Pres. Obama went somewhere and this robot was playing ball with him, I thought it was a little person in a costume, my daughter says its a robot mom. :o

Well I think if you can afford one then why not? However you know in the movies that some of them can have a malfunction and then they will start to have human like traits such as jealousy and hatred. LOL don't tell them to clean the house too much they might say, go do it yourself. Hahaha.
