Goodbye to FC
« on: August 30, 2017, 08:10:21 am »
After 9 years here, it is time to say goodbye to Fusion Cash. I've fallen victim to the 180 day rule, and with the lack of offers, there's no possible way not to lose money faster than I can earn it. What's even worse is that I HAD over $25 in my account, but not $15 in offers, so I still couldn't cash out. The math just doesn't add up, so it's time for me to cut my losses and move on to other sites that will actually pay me for my time.
I know the usually response of people here is "it's in the fine print." Sure, but it is very unethical for FC to set requirements and then make it impossible to meet those requirements. You can go back in the forums and see the dozens of complaints about no videos, or videos not working or crediting. I understand now that the 5-cent rule, combined with the 180-day rule, is a very lucrative additional income stream for FC. Most other sites have hundreds of offers, not 2 pages at the most, and they only take back the earnings for INACTIVITY, which means not logging in for so many months. I don't appreciate the underhanded swindling. If they treat long-term members so poorly, there's no point in staying here wasting my time. So goodbye everybody; it was good while it lasted.

My concern with FC is that I have been able to cash out for two months, when I tried to cash out it stated I needed to do a W-9 I sent support tickets and did a Fax verification as requested.  I received an email stating FC received my information and it will take 7-14 days to review and see a response.  It has been over a month and I have not had this resolved so I can cash out.  I have sent a support ticket and still have not had a response with that.  Could anyone give me any pointers to resolve this issue? :confused1: :-\ :'(

It's true that there are members who have been feeling your frustrations.  Fusion Cash is not for everyone.  Like you, I have been a member of other sites that started out well and then...

Since FC is not the only game in town; there are many other earning options available, I sincerely wish you all the best.

Oh wow so sorry you have decided to call it quits after doing so well!! I have no problem getting my minimum $25 within a few months, so far anyhow. I honestly feel like 6 months is ample time, unless of course you only work on it a few days a month. I always kind of thought of the time limit as incentive to get to cash out asap. I almost always work on my FC every day, but am planning a trip away from home next month and may not get to do it, which makes me sad :( Good luck in your new ventures!

I feel your pain. The 180 day rule HIT me as well, years ago. Despite the bad taste in my mouth, I continued on. It's good to know there are other sites out there. You will do great despite this disappointment.  :peace:

I'm able to cashout every month so I have no experience with hitting the 180 day mark or even not having $15 in offer once I'm over $25. I really don't see how a person couldn't earn $25 in 6 months when thats only around $1 a week

But good luck finding something that's a better fit for you

i dont think other sites have hundreds of offers. dont think the 180 rule is that hard. true you cant make that much money here or else where but still its free money for just clicking on many sites.

It is what it is.
Good luck with other sites.
I'm on dozens, but FC is still a consistent earner for me and probably in my top 3 every month.

You must have time for, and actually qualify for, surveys. I don't, and the DQ bonus doesn't count towards the 5 cents needed for the PTC. It is impossible to earn $1 a week when there are no offers to earn it from!

InstaGC and GiftHulk both have hundreds of offers. Swagbucks at least has dozens of great offers, probably at least 100 (I haven't counted, just estimated from the offers pages). Even Cash Crate has 5 pages full of offers. That doesn't count surveys.
Thank you to everybody who wished me well. I'll do OK, although I'll always miss FC. I've earned a lot more on Swagbucks this year already; that's now going to be my number one site.

Tapresearch dqs actually do count towards the 5 cents and theirs are based on how long you're in the survey before you get disqualified.  yes I do qualify for surveys but members are cashing out without doing them. Someone earned $25 just from tasks this month. There are plenty of ways to earn on the site but if other sites are working better for you then good luck.

I'm sorry to see you go, but you have to do what is right for you.  I hope you can find what you are looking for.  I've tried many programs, and continue to believe that FC is the best one for me.  I am usually able to cash out every month, and pay for three of my subscriptions I have at PayPal with the money I make from this site.  Good luck to you!
