I have adopted 2 rabbits from Farm Sanctuary. Their names are Bernie and Macbeth. Sadly, they have both passed away from natural causes. :'( They were both rescues.  I’m grateful they did not die from neglect and abuse, and they were able to live as long as they were meant to live naturally.

I have had rabbits,  a couple I raised  for 4-H and entered in the fair and got  blue ribbons and sold them for a good price, But we also raised them  to eat.  I bought one another time for my  little great niece who was staying  with me and her mother of course.  I potty trained it  very easily. But it was great therpy for the little one who had been abused some by her stepfather.

yes! when my son was younger we had 2 rabbits as pets. They are a trip but a pain in the neck to take care of and keep clean! The both died because one of the bunnys got sick and died in the cage and then days later same thing to the other one. They couldn't live without one another I guess...lol. RIP Cocoa and Crispy!

No, but when we lived out in the country, we had rabbits and deer's in the yard every day. The rabbit had her babies playing with her, it was so nice  to look at.

When my big kids were small I took them to a local fair.  My daughter was 6 years old and decided then she wanted a bunny.  My son however had (and still has) horrible allergies.  So at the end of the fair outing we went to the rabbit tent and spoke with bunny owners.  They let daughter hold bunnies and my son snuggle his face up to em.  We discovered he wasn't allergic to the lop.  So not 2 years later my daughter saved and bought her first bunny.  He was so cool! Litter box trained him... but he often over shot and missed the box.  We had hard wood floors and could never get rid of that smell in the back corner of the living room.

My dad had some rabbits for a while back when I was about 10 years old.  My brother and I had to help feed them.  They were cute but I don't really remember whatever happened to them.

Yes I've had bunnies for pets, some would not be as tame as others, but bunnies are cute and soft! I'm unsure about eating bunny meat though!
