I KNEW he'd be AWESOME, but he's already far exceeded my expectations for him.  I couldn't be more proud of him.  He's going to go down in history as being one of the GREATEST President's ever.

It's garbage. I don't know why anybody can take what he says seriously. He's a joke.

Sorry I think he is hateful, crude, rude, vulgar and a complete embarrassment.  I certainly fear the next generation hearing the trash coming out of his mouth.  Politics aside he is unfit to be president.  I am not looking for any "free ride" ,  I don't want a President, his family and his croonies taking unnecessary "free rides"(all those private jet trips) on my tax dollars (when they are billionaires and could pay for their own trip to see the eclipse).    Trump does not care one bit about the average citizen,  he has no interest in proving good affordable health care he is just obsessed with undoing anything and everything Obama did regardless of the implications.

I agree.  He scares me.   He and I do not believe the same on major issues.  I respect folks that voted for him but he scares me and I also do not believe he cares about the average person.   I also see his agenda as undoing everything President Obama did, I believe that to be his main motivation.   I also could never get past the remarks he made on Access Hollywood.

I agree with both of you.  To me, he is an embarrassment much of the time who talks out of one side of his mouth and then the other. Most of his administration so far has been a mess!  He has come dangerously close to getting us in a war with North Korea.  Just what we need, two arrogant, immature boys playing nuclear tag! He is a right-fighter, not caring about anything but not taking blame and playing to his base.  I could go on and on, but what's the use?

He is the President weather some likes him or not.  Most of the time  he makes sense and  he does want to make this country great again and I think he can and will but has an uphill battle with the  democrats who want the same old thing and that is to keep making money off of us without doing a dang thing for us.  they will fight  him all the way. I hope and pray we get some one with a little sense elected soon for the senate. Even if you don't like him you should respect him. We spent 8 years listening to Obama and watching him try to destroy the country and build it too  his  dictatorial liking. Thank God he was not able to too.

Would  you be so kind to explain, in more detail by giving examples, of President Obama tried to destroy the country?  Also, not sure what you mean by his dictatorial liking and would appreciate you clarifying that statement.  Thanks

His presidency is an absolute disaster. The number of people within his cabinet that have resigned or were fired is major red flags and is a reflection of his presidency.

All of the rhetoric that is given about Trump in order to slander him should be followed by some reason of why someone thinks that way.  :dontknow:

I think you have a right to your opinion, but it should be a well thought out opinion with some basis in fact and not just some feeling.

He is our president and commander-in-chief now and we ought to have a modicum of respect which is due to the person in that office, and as I said before and I say again: "Give the man a chance." I think he is doing a good job of draining the swamp and changing policies that are not working.

I don't hate the president, but I don't like his speeches. I think they are rude, to almost everybody.

Will someone please remind the president of this.....

The most important U.S. Supreme Court legal victory won by the Witnesses was in the case West Virginia State Board of Education vs. Barnette (1943), in which the court ruled that school children could not be forced to pledge allegiance to or salute the U.S. flag. The Barnette decision overturned an earlier case, Minersville School District vs. Gobitis (1940), in which the court had held that Witnesses could be forced against their will to pay homage to the flag.

I have great respect for the office of the Presidency.  I find it difficult to have respect for Donald Trump.  He doesn't care about the same issues I care about, one big one is the environment.  All of the deregulations with environmental issues will hurt future generations far more than our generation.  Environment is a big issue for me so that is one reason of the reasons he lost some of my respect.   He has no respect for the environment.   Next, the Hollywood access tape was inexcusable and a man that talked that way does not deserve my respect.  His appointment of Scott Pruitt as the head of the EPA certainly proves Trump doesn't care about the environment.  I am also terrified that he is going to get us in a Nuclear War with North Korea.   And most recently, his tax plan.  It may, and I say MAY, help some middle class families but most agree there will be many middle class whose taxes will rise.  It certainly is going to benefit the rich, if by no other reason than they no longer will have to pay the inheritance tax.   Look at the table they released, those making more than 150,000 a year are getting the biggest tax cut.  Those are a few of the reasons I have no respect for this man, when he shows me he has respect for the things I care about then I may change my feelings, until then, I'm counting the days for him to be out of office.   Oh and one more thing, look at all the small people who he swindled out of paying, family businesses that supplied pianos for his Atlantic City Casino, just to name one.  There are dozens and dozens of other.   (stepping off my soap box now)

Trump is a buffoon.  He is arrogant with an ego that need not be in the White House.  He feels that he have control of people and their businesses.  So sad that other countries are probably laughing at this *bleep* and his theatrics before the media.  He is an embarrassment.

It is kind of funny reading the different responses. Not quite as funny as watching the daily antics but humorous none the less. Giving credit or blame to politicians and presidents will always be there and people will always disagree. It is kind of amazing that people will waste a lot of their time talking, writing and arguing about it. Every human has their faults especially when they have had little to no experience in the political field, are ignorant, or are called into situations that they have never been exposed to. They must count on their advisers and the whole lot is into self preservation, narcissism, and greed. These are professional sales people/liars that have sold themselves to one group or another and do not deliver once they have been given what they want.

I watched his speech after the Las Vegas shooting and found him to be sincere. Haters are going to hate. But I support him because he is our President and I believe he will take our country to where it needs to be. At least half the country seems to agree with me otherwise he would not have been elected.
