Do you shake people's hands?
« on: October 30, 2017, 12:59:33 am »
I try not to because sometimes people do not wash theirs. But if I go to a job interview, then I will shake someone's hand.

All the time and I don't whip out my sanitizer in front of them either. Getting too paranoid about germs just means the slightest one will hit you like a plague. I prefer to build my immunity.

I had to learn to shake peoples' hands! I do shake hands when it matters.  :cat:

It depends on the situation but I agree with oldbuddy, I shake hands & pull out the wipes afterwords.  l also agree it's smart to exercise your immune system daily. Every year, I refuse the flu shot bc when I was religiously taking the flu shot, I still got sick! After graduating college, I decided to stop the yearly flu shots & to this day, haven't got sick with the flu since!

I do it without a second thought, really. You can't worry too much about germs--they are everywhere, anyway! I wash my hands so many times a day as well because I'm always handling something unsanitary (cat litter, trash, etc.), so I'm not worried about a person's hand.

I do, I don't want to be rude if someone offers me their hand but I'm a little more selective about offering my hand first.

I do the "double handed" handshake. In business, you can't worry so much about germs.  Just keep a lot of sanitizer on hand.

If they offer it to me first. Otherwise I'm not really a hand shaker. Not because of germs or anything, just something I don't usually do.

When i am sick i do not shake hands because i do not want to get the other person sick. When i am not sick i am open to shaking hands with people.

I shake hands like anybody should: A firm two shakes. Nobody needs their hand to be crushed or limp fish.
