2nd update:
I ordered an OEM cartridge from Staples and when I received it, I replaced the other "OEM" cartridge with the Staples OEM. Printer is working fine now.

Either the cartridge I received was a dud or the company is refilling  original cartridges and not changing the label. It didn't come in a box but that's normal. A lot of sellers don't mail the cartridges out in boxes because of postage. This company also only took CC payments through Paypal and when i tried to cancel the order within a minute of ordering, they said it was already shipped....so that I was stuck with it.

I will be contacting the seller and wanting a full refund and the ability to return this item. Bet they won't allow it! Also put a complaint in to ebay on this seller.

I would try anything, like unplugging it, buying a few more print cartridges, before I would think that it was ruined. Could be age of the printer to.   :-\

Glad you fixed the problem!  I guess there was something wrong with the cartridge you had.  If the seller refuse to take responsibility and issue a refund, you should definitely leave them a negative review so other potential buyers are aware of it!

Resetting the printer is a good idea.  Remove all paper, ink cartridges etc. then unplugged it for a few days.  Plug it back in and see what happens.  I would throw out the ones that made the computer mess up and buy different ones.  Try Walmart.  I would also start looking up decent buys for printers.  READ REVIEWS.  This time of year is always the best to buy electronics because it's when you find them on sale and don't forget a warranty.
