Any tips for using WiFi for freebies?

I was wondering if anyone has any experience using a laptop at a public portal ( the library), to do the freebie offers. Since I do not have internet access at home, this is the only way I can do offers. Most trials credit well, but due to repeated scams, I would like to stay away from CC offers for a while and do freebies. But almost always the freebies never credit, even though I follow all the tips. So I figured it was because the public access IP address is not recognized. I am almost certain that no others users of this library are members of FC or other GPT sites, as I have never had any problem with any accounts being suspended for possible fraud.  I have heard of people doing offers in hotels while on vacation, or something similar.

Huh, that's weird. I use my university WiFi all the time, sometimes for offers (the dailies, for instance) and never had a problem.

ya sometimes i do mine at home, work, school, and friends house but havent had any problems. That is weird

I can't figure out what else I could be doing wrong. I follow all the rules about clearing cookies, etc, and I only do one once in a while, but they don't credit for me on any of the sites that I try them on. I've tried with both Firefox and IE, and neither seems to work.

Have you tried just the 15 cent PTC daily offer? I think that would work if any would. I think other offers outside of FC would check the IP address which still might work unless others are also using the Library connection.

Yes, the .15 PTC credits all the time, and I usually have no trouble with trials. But freebies never work.
