favorite tv channel?

We have cable in the main room, but in the bedroom we have an antenna. (We just don't watch it at all so I feel it's a waste to spend an extra 7$ a month for a digital box.) A while ago I came across a channel called 'Comet' on the antenna. It is absolutely hilarious!! It's mostly B horror/scifi movies from the 80's, but they always pick terrific ones. I can't stop laughing when I watch this channel. I'm currently watching 'Troll'. As someone who was born in the 80's but was too young to remember, this is a super treat. One of the best parts is seeing all these people who have great careers and are famous today, but were nobodies in the movies. 

I've seen crappy vampire movies, the original godzilla movies, etc. They also have crappy scifi shows from the 90's. I've always been a fan of campy, crappy movies. This is my 'me time' channel.

My TV is usually on Investigation Discovery.

I mostly watch MeTv because I like the old shows, Leave It to Beaver, Gilligan etc and also westerns.

we watch a lot of Amazon, it has no commercials so the dog does not bark.

My favorite channel is PBS. I love the PBS Newshour every evening plus my state of NJ half hour news plus the BBC half hour news that tells a lot more about what is going on in the world outside the US than any of the regular network news shows. Then there are great drama shows like Downton Abbey and Call the Midwife plus great history programs like American Masters and American Experience and Ken Burns films.

Wow, that's a difficult question for me because I have favorite shows on many channels.  I can't narrow it to one channel only, but I can pick Investigation Discovery, AMC, and the History channel.  I wish I could afford some premium channels because I often like the movies they are showing, but that isn't going to happen the way the big telecommunications companies are raising prices all the time. I'm thinking of getting Roku and NetFlix when my Comcast contract expires in abut 16 or 17 months from now.

Since subscribing to satellite (after being a life-long cable subscriber), one of my favorite channels is Reelz (Channel 238 on DirecTV). It has several television shows that I watch on a regular basis: Scandal/Murder Made Me Famous, Autopsy: The Final Hours of..., Snapped, Mobsters. I can go on and on, LOL.

 It's a tie between Hallmark Channel and HG TV.  I like the movies on Hallmark Channel. I also like  The renovation shows like fixer-upper and property brothers.

PBS is my favorite since I like to watch the science and nature programs like Nature and Nova which is all I watch.
