Is anyone else excited about it? Is anyone planning on seeing it this weekend?

I liked Star Wars when I was little but I really don't care for them anymore. I saw the first 3 in the theater when they came out.

Love Star Wars but I'm not a person that has to be at any movie on opening day.  Prefer to wait until the crowds have decreased.

I haven't seen the past two Star Wars films, so I'm not excited about this one.
To me, they have lost their "magic"... & now that Disney has them, there will always be a bias towards characters that are cute & sellable... merchandising is their main focus in their films.

I am soooo excited for it, huge Star Wars fan. Don't think I'll be able to see it in theaters. Every little extra I get has been going towards food the past few months.

no they're all garbage

I’m sorry you feel that way. I have never been a Star Wars fan either.

I liked the original Star Wars but now they just seem played out. I'm just grateful that nerdiness is becoming more popular than sports movies and easy money movies. Hopefully this will encourage the new generation to read and think outside the box more.

They aren't garbage.  You may not like the Star Wars movies but they are quite popular and a lot of people really like them.  Just because you do not like them doesn't make them garbage.

I saw all of them when I was a kid.

That is because when you was a kid it was more amazing.  When you grow up they all seem different. lol

I prefer to wait and get them on DVD.  I am not a fan of crowds.  Esp dark movie theaters.  Too many crazy stupid people in the world today.

To be honest, i haven't seen a Star Wars movie since the third movie of the original trilogy from the 70s. But watching the most recent trailer for the upcoming Stars Wars movie, it's kind of peaked my interest in watching all of the prequel and sequel movies that have come out in the past 20 years. 8)
