Sorry to hear - is there any way to get internet from your car so you could still use FC?

I pray that things will turn around and you get back on this site with your testimony.

Not that I want to leave but it looks like I'm going to have to. As of 12/26/17 my family and I will be living out of our cars. Extended family doesn't want to take us in and other assistance is non-existent right now with it being Christmas. I've been sharing my go fund me page and posted a plea on youtube but it looks like the worse is going to happen. Anyway, even though I haven't talked to a lot of you one and one over the years I've gotten to know a little bit about all of you through your posts. It's sad to think about not being able to come on here anymore but I just wanted to say it's been fun and I'll miss you guys.

No one in your family can get a job any where? I am just curious. I see you still have the internet so I can't feel too sorry for you.  Yeah, not what you want to hear but it is the truth.  Do you have cable?  You can live in a house with no electricity.  At least you have shelter. Not sure how you came to where you are either being kicked out of your house for not making house payments or not paying rent but usually you have to be at least 3 months behind.  SO you should have quit this site and turned the internet off 3 months ago and put that money toward housing.

I don't know your situation but I just do not grasp how people who are a family can get to the point of being homeless.  And if no one in your family will take you in then I can only assume there is some reason.  If you were working and trying then I would think someone would help.  Usually the only time family turns their back and won't take someone in is if they are on drugs, drunks, or refuse to work and just looking for a hand out.  I know thru the holidays about all retail and places even gas stations are hiring.  If it was to the point of being homeless I would take what ever work was available.

That's awful.  Is anyone working?  Have you contacted local churches?

A lot of churches have quit giving handouts to people.  In my town anyway most of the churches donate to the charity organizations and you go to them.  Too many people going from church to church with a sob story asking for cash for electric bills or whatever and then they take the money and buy drugs.  If they say they are hungry and want money for food and you say well we will not give you money but will take you to buy some food and they refuse that offer then they are not too hungry.

Register at a temp agency.

This is a good idea.  They usually have jobs.  May not be the job you want but if you are to the point of being homeless you will take whatever is available.  I have worked on many jobs that I hated. But I done what I had to do in order to survive.

Hopefully it's not a permanent situation for you and just a "see ya later" type of thing.  No need to give up on FC.  Considering using FREE WiiFii or the local library.  Our town has a shelter where those that are registered to stay there can use the library services.  (within walking distance) Churches (Unless already involved in a church home) give us much as they can.  Praying for you and your family to find your place in the world.  Work and steady income.  Praying for all of your health and rejoicing that through it all - you are still together.

Wow, thanks. I'm not going to go into details but it really isn't that black and white. Things aren't always simple in situations like this. That's all I'm going to say.

I thought they had a thing about WIFI addresses? Like you had to have the same one that matched your address? At least that's how I took it.

Sorry to hear about your situation. I hope something works out and you get back on your feet soon. I have been down that road and with prayer and faith, something always worked out for me. I hope the same for you.

If your mother has a job can you possibly get a motel room?  I’m not talking about a $100 room rate, but I’m sure there are cheap motels in your town.  There are some in our town for $20 to $30 a night.  I know they won’t be a palace but it would be better than a car.  And you can go to soup kitchens for hot meals.  Best of luck.

You can always go to libraries and restaurants (such as Starbucks) and get free wi-fi and use it that way. That way you can still get the internet and still use FC? I hope things turn around for you. Best of luck and happy holidays.

I pray that something will come its way and youll soon be back on your feet and then you will get the chance to come bac and see us all again.

I was gone for over a year because we weren't able to get internet. We are in a slightly better place where we can now purchase the internet. which I am really grateful for.

just keep trying I wish I could help but we are just making it ourselves.
