kleenex tissues
« on: January 07, 2018, 08:04:19 am »
are referred to as facial tissues.
Puff's and Kleenex brands are dominating the market.
I did a search to see how they are made.
they are made from wood.
no wonder some are so rough on the nose.
I did discover some businesses are making them from bamboo, a green plant.
I found another who added eucalyptus oil. [that will help you clear your sinuses.]
Who wants to keep our trees? [we need them to be able to breathe]
softer "facial tissue" is best

I've never really noticed the difference, except for those tissues that have added lotions.  I tend to buy the cheapest brand, based on number of tissues in the box.

I like the Puffs with no lotion......and I don't like the boxes where the tissue pops up (they always stop popping up halfway through the box)  :dog: :dog:

I like the PUFF brand with lotion... the good news is you can find them at the dollar store -- so even more of a bonus.

I would like to find some with Eucalyptus oil, that will be on my list.  I love the smell of it!

Puffs are the best,,,,  with lotion so they don't make your nose hurt  or if you have a bad cold i like the ones with vicks in it.  they are pretty awesome too.  I have a box in each room of my house.  never to far from me  :)

We can keep more trees if we use more electronic devices and therefore make less paper.

You can buy bamboo wipes that you wash and reuse. I have not bought any of them yet.

We have never cared for the tissues with the lotion or oils in them.  Seems like it just makes your skin feel oily.
