I usually go all out every year since I have only my  immediate family, but since I'm married I have to cut back and buy for my in-laws side too. *sigh* I'm broke.

I had to cut back last year and will probably spend about the same this year. I spend the most on my 2 grandsons but thats what grandmas do. :)

I've actually never done Christmas. No cards, no gifts, etc. I usually volunteer to work just to have something to pass the time.

I have always started presents for all the family right after christmas of the following year is done. That way im not in a rush and I can take my sweet time getting year round christmas presents. It works for me because I cannot stand CROWDS and christmas time it just seems like all the A**holes come out.

:crybaby2: My family died. I am all alone,so every holiday, I sleep, and the day after the holiday, I am grateful that I didn't kill myself.

My boyfriend didn't celebrate anything before he met me. Not even his birthday. We consider Thanksgiving to be our anniversary since I refused to let him be alone for it lol! Now we celebrate everything!

I've started using store gift certificates and gift cards to buy gifts when there's a great sale. JCP had a great 9-1 sale Saturday, and I got my daughter some adorable outfits.  :)

I don't celebrate Xmas.  The only person I will get anything for is my mother.

I'll probably just get something for my roommates, parents, sister, and boyfriend.  I usually try to give hand-made presents, which are more time consuming but certainly cheaper!
