Over-The-Counter (or OTC)
« on: April 01, 2018, 06:17:12 am »
What do you use for your aches and pains ?? I just take good old fashion Aspirins. I get worried about how many I take but I think there is no real answer to whats better for me.  Side effects on all pills are scary !!

Excedrin Extra Strength does it for me. Makes all the pain go away and lets me live a normal day.

I usually just clamp a C-clamp over my left index knuckle and tighten it until it hurts bad enough I don't notice the pain I was trying to eliminate. (April Fools)

I just try to bite the bullet unless my aches and pains become greater than normal.  I guess I'm used to a little daily discomfort.  However, when I get a sciatica attack I take a muscle relaxer or call my M.D.  When the sciatica is bad enough, I can't sit, I can't lie down, I can hardly stand or move in any manner.  Luckily, I've only had it that bad about three times over the last 7 or 8 years!  Muscle relaxers just knock me out and relax everything which provides a great deal of relief!

Amputation is not a option !!  I'd be like the guy in Monty Python just a stump ! I gave up the Dr's shots and pills years ago, but 100% disability on my back, pain is nonstop.
