I do baked potatoes in mine all the time, we  do not use the microwave. Heated the ribs leftover from the grill in it this morning.   I use parchment  paper make it real easy to clean.

We use a crock pot every now and again.  We do use it more during the winter months.  And for occasions when the girls and their families come over for lunch or supper we will use our large crockpot and our small one to make things easier for everyone.  There's a few meals the whole group loves cooked in the crockpots.

I don't have a crock pot, but I am going to get one soon. I hear there are a lot of meals you can make in them and I like to keep things simple.

My wife uses the crock pot once a week at least. Yesterday she tossed in a bunch of cans of tomato sauce, beans, fresh peppers, fresh diced onion, cayenne pepper, salt, celery and three cups of chicken. We had chili when we got home. I love to read recipes and there are so many that call for a crockpot and usually take under thirty minutes to prepare. We do roast beef, potatoes, onions, carrots and gravy in one dish. I hate cleaning dishes but always clean my own when making dinner for the family. The crock pot seems fairly easy to clean up. I also like how cheap the meals are when using a crockpost and we can get three or four meals from one preparation. I have saved a recipe for green chili, chicken, enchiladas that I want to try out as soon as work slows down.

I've been trying to get back into cooking.  Crockpots are amazing for that since I can set stuff up before work and then return to a good meal.  The only downside I have is finding a recipe that I like.  So many recipes I enjoy don't use Crockpots so I need to find one.

I use my crockpot all the time.  It saves time to prepare a meal using one item for it to cook.

I've invested in one, but it is currently packed away waiting for me to move into a new apartment. So excited to be able to use it soon though.
