I have grown children and am so blessed and I think if you do not want children that's your decision and best that you don't have them because you would not be very good parents

I am married for 8 years but no child, not by choice. Married late so it so hard to conceive if you are late 40' . Praying still, GOD have a reasons for everything.

I am grateful for my two daughters and two granddaughters. I pray for those that would like to have a child but cannot for whatever reason. I pray for those that have a child or children they did not intend to have and for the children that are suffering as a result.

I have two children. However i know some women who have just one. I also know a woman who has just one and said she will never have a second child. Claims she had no idea her life would change so much. She is not happy now. So sad.

When I was a kid, I thought I'd be married with children. As an adult I can barely take care of myself & my cats! I'm widowed & set in my ways! I'm happy having nieces & hope they can pass on my crappy gene pool through them!

I have one child, but there are women in the world who prefer not to do any childbearing. Do you know anyone like this? Are you childless? Some reasons are medical, spiritual, education, or just not into kids, or just plain fearful to have a child

Well in my case I want children but just am not in a relationship didn't find the right guy to have the baby with. I would love to have 3 of my own and raise them right with all the love in my heart. Hopefully I get the chance to be a mother.

Women aren't incubators.  None of us are obligated to have children, just because we're women.

I am childless because of medical reasons, while I  was never able to have biological children I do have two Goddaughters whom I adore and because I am a retired educator I feel like over the course of my career I had many children who I mentored and help to become productive adults.

My youngest daughter just turned 38.  She is happily married and has a good job.  She and her husband have no interest in having children.  They both like their lives just as is.  They come and go when and how they want and like the freedom. I admire that they have made the decision because they know themselves well enough to know that a child is not for them and what they want from life.  It is a proactive decision; many of us have at least one child because it just "happened."

I have several married family members who do not want children. Other people call them selfish and say they are making a terrible mistake, etc. but I don't think any of those things. I feel nobody should have children they don't want because it isn't at all fair to the children. Plus my childless family members all dote on those kids we do have in the family. I am quite sure they will be leaving their money to these children when they die and that they ultimately be very great assets to these children.
