Congratulations! Every bill killed helps you keep more money in your pocket and helps you start thinking about putting money away for your future. I have been debt free for awhile (except for my tax deductible mortgage) but continue to help my wife with her credit cards. I say her credit cards because the balances came from trips she took, tennis and a partying lifestyle. I have not had a car payment for five years and have been reinvesting every cent that can find. I have been at fusioncash for quite some time and have spent everything that I have earned on various investments. My wife and daughter are on a five day vacation which allows me uninterrupted work time and time to focus on making more money. I am taking soms scrap metal to the recycling center so that I can buy a few shares of stock.

Well with rising gas prices it will end up making the difference we would first cut down how much we drive but I really cant stop going to work. we are trying to move closer.

but it would also allow me to pay down other bills or pay off the car faster

I was soooooooooooo happy when I finally paid off my truck...had all kinds of OT at my old job and was making a payment a week online to get it paid off...good thing I did...6 months later POOF job was gone.

yeah good I have 2 credit cards with zero balance. a couple with a few hundred dollars each love the zero balance. my husband said we should get a new frig it leaks a little but not that bad. I said no sears is down to 60.00. if it breaks then ok
