Seems like June is lasting forever
« on: June 29, 2018, 10:25:17 am »
Usually the months fly by but for some reason it seems like June has just crawled by at a snails pace.  Not that I am in a hurry my life is going by fast enough. Well one more day folks and we'll be into July.

I think here in our state it seems to be dragging is because of the heat. Almost all month it has been in the high 90's to triple degrees . Right now it is 107 again. I pray it ends soon and we can have some  much  prayed for rain. Most of our state is  starting to burn up. Not with fires but no water. Hopefully we do not have ang fires.

We just had a couple of "heat days" and I love em.  Of course I work indoors so it doesn't bother me much to be out just running to my car.  But I just bought a bike and I've been using it to get to and from work.  This morning wasn't uncomfortable and tonight I rode downhill so the heat didn't bother me one bit.

Most months really seem to fly but I find the spring and summer months usually seem longest. My favorite months (Sept Oct) just zip by.

I wish it went by slower!  I had so much going on, promotions, graduations, etc...  gift buying.... so much money went out the door last month.

Hopefully July goes by nice & slow... & it stays this nice cool temperature :)

I never worry about months going slow, it just means that I don't have to pay the bills as fast!

I'm surprised it's already 1/2 way through the year.

June has flown by for me.  I have spent many days at my parent's farm as Dad very quickly progressed with cancer and died 6/16/18.  My Mom has just been placed on Home Hospice care with her third round of cancer in her lifetime.
Our heat index yesterday was at 105, but today it has been a pleasant 78 degrees.  I am mostly tired of the rain.
We have a lot of high water and many fields are flooded out.

For me June has gone by all to quickly.  Could having a birthday and an Anniversary in June have something to do with that, I don't know but I can't believe this is the last day of June.   :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose:

I guess it's all in the perspective.  June flew for me.  As I have gotten older, days are clicking off like fireworks!  When I was a kid, I measured time from one Christmas to another, and it always seemed so far away!  NOW, I am going, "It's almost time to do the Christmas shopping again.  How did that happen!!!"
