Are you afraid to fly?

I used to have no problem flying and did quite a bit when I was younger.  However, the older I am getting, the more apprehensive I seem to be.  It's not that I wouldn't get on a plane because there are a few places I still want to go and flying is the the most expedient.  Nonetheless, I don't want to fly in the winter. I just think of the de-icing they do and the bad winter storms where you get stranded at airports. I also notice that I watch the other people getting on the plane more closely than I ever did before.  Frankly, if I noticed anything suspicious, I would report it at the drop of a hat...right or wrong...who cares!?

Not afraid to fly, just don't like it so much. I usually sleep or read a book the entire flight. Not to mention checking in and going through security is just a huge hassle. Last time I flew, they confiscated my sunblock. Apparently, liquids over a certain amount are automatically confiscated (I knew that but I was going to Vegas. Need my sunblock!! Lol).

I am not afraid of flying.  I don't fly often, only when I have gone on a vacation.  So for me, flying is associated with Fun.

I have experienced a few moments of anxiety during flights, but nothing that would cause me to never fly again.

I am not afraid to fly just don't go anywhere to fly anymore.  I have only flown one time and I loved every minute of it.  It is so much faster than driving.

I used to be terrified of flying. In the last 8 or so years I've probably been on at least 200 flights, so it is not as scary to me as it once was.

just video game flying. if they put parachutes on civilian planes or escape pod, then is one thing. The military pilots have them in their planes but civilian no.

No I'm not afraid to fly but my ears don't like it.  I try to avoid it because twice I have had to get surgery on my ears after a flight.  I had eardrum surgery three times from a botched problem due to flying.  The doctor said I can fly by the end of the year but I'm not feeling it.

Im not crazy about flying.I get kinda claustrophobic in a plane.I will admit you cant beat it to get somewheres tho.I have a bro in Colorado i would have liked to see more often.I was there once and its nice seeing the Rocky Mountains right there.

I'm not afraid to fly. But I usually get sick when I do.

I thought I would be.  I was nervous when my daughter and I had to take a total of 6 flights when we went on vacation to DC and Florida a few years ago.  The first flight made me a little nervous, but then we were perfectly fine.  Except when one of the bag checkers had a fit over my craft scissors in my carry-on.  They let me keep it, though.  AND ONLY 1 OUT OF 6 NOTICED!!  That's kind of a scary thought.

Haven't flown since 1979  when I came back from the Army in Germany....don't plan on it ever again if I can help it...

I fly a lot and most times I am scared but I take anxiety pills before i leave and if it is long flight I take a sleeping pill and sleep through most of the flight.
