I'm too young to have experienced his leadership but from what I have heard and seen, he was such an amazing person...RIP

I believe he was probably heartbroken missing Barbara but at 94 years old he has had a long an exciting life may he rest in peace. Sending my thoughts and prayers to his family and friends

He was 94 and in very poor health. I doubt it had anything to do with being heart broken.

I Heard this as well. Very sad. Probably died with a broken heart missing his love who passed away not too long ago.

I had not heard about George Bush Sr passing.  My husband almost always keeps me in the loop.
He lived to be a nice old age.  May he rest in peace.

He was president when I was in middle school. Seems like along time ago now.

RIP. But so happy he is with the love of his life again. And they also get to be with their baby girl again.

Yeah... Thanks for the Gulf War & beginning the New World Order & entrenching the CIA directly into government affairs.... and the Immigration Act of 1990.

Good-Bye to the Bush Family in politics & bringing American sons & daughters into oil wars... but yeah, RIP President Bush. Thankfully you were only a one term President.

I believe your heart can be broken when your sig O dies. I think that's why married people die within such a close proximity of time.

I appreciate all the kind comments from people about this president's parting.

Listened to the greatest story today.  Barbara Bush's assistant told the story how when he lost the election everyone that worked in the White House was depressed and upset.  George Bush was a fan of Dana Carvey who imitated him on SNL.  President Bush called Dana Carvey after the election loss and explained to him how upset everyone in the White House had been since the loss, he asked Dana if he would do him a favor and Dana said "of course".  President Bush asked him if he would come to the White House and perform for the staff.  Dana Carvey said yes, when do you want me there.  He went and performed.  Barbara Bush's assistant said it lifted everyone's spirit.  It was a great story and credit to President Bush for being more concerned about his staff.   Great man, may he rest in peace.
