Tv problems

I have tv problems a lot, the picture on my screen is distorted. Anyone else have this issue.

It looks like a bunch of squares.

I get that on and off a lot.  It started in October when the cable company went all digital.  No matter how many times I have a cable technician come out here it never stays fixed.  I'm about ready to give up cable.  It's so expensive and half the time I can't watch a whole movie clearly.

I have had that happen, but when I reset the cable set-top box it fixes it. I unplug the box, wait 10 seconds and plug it back in. This is for Comcast Xfinity

No not that problem but my smart tv has started acting stupid but I don't think it is a tv issue but rather likely like yours a problem with my cable company.  At least once per night I get a low bandwitth error which shouldn't be and I have to either call the internet company and get my wifi mode reset or I have to turn off the tv for a few and then try turning it back on which I have found works just as well and takes much less time. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr right in middle of my show

If you have a cable box, make sure you have the most upgraded box... with comcast/spectrum/time warner I get those box pixelations when the box is outdated.  It happens every couple years or so that we need to take in & switch out the boxes.

Our oldest son gave us a nice big screen TV. He said it might not work.

It worked for us a few months and yesterday it konked out. Can't complain but it's a little disappointing.  :crybaby2:

Make sure all the cables are properly pushed in all the way.
No loose cables will improve your chances of a good TV reception.

To the OP: I am sorry to hear of your TV problems. Have you tried unplugging your cable or satellite box (if you have one), waiting for 10 - 15 seconds, and re-plugging it? If that does not work, you may have to contact your cable or satellite provider.

Nope I have never had that problem, my screen has frozen a few times, but my issue was with the cable.  I am working on cutting that off in the next few days, with the help of a great antenna, netflix and amazon firestick I will be saving a bunch of $$.   Looking forward to it.

I don't get that because I don't have cable. I just have regular over-the-air service with a digital antennae, which just gives you a whole other set of problems, like that it's almost impossible to watch TV when it is raining out for most channels.
