I try hard not to curse but every once in awhile when I'm really, really upset, I will.  But I don't like it when I do.  I've taught my daughters that it's crude.

Cursing is pretty classless. I don't really curse often. (I mean, if I hit my thumb with a hammer, I might let a bad word fly, but I don't just swear in conversation.) Can't stand the amount of cursing you hear nowadays. Can't get away from it.

Google JediJohnnie and May the Force be with you!

Never have and never will.  Cursing is not in my language :)

I never cursed around my kids until they were well into their teens.  I don't curse often, but when the instinct moves me or it is spontaneous, it comes out.  I try to consider the people and situation, but as I'm getting older I say what I want when I want.   However, swearing like a sailor out in public is inappropriate!

Every now and then I may curse, (NOTHING HARD) but never in front of young people or my elders.  If something should slip out, I do apologize.  I was raised to always mind what you say in front of others.

I remember we rented too a couple that cursed a ridiculous amount in front of their kids. I mean this made Pulp Fiction or a movie like that look good. I remember the husband said that his kids know not to repeat what he says. lol I mean really.

I find it offensive.  Even when I was a bartender I didn't like to curse.  Sure heard enough of it though from everyone else.  I usually worked in administrative jobs and in most of those, people didn't curse much.

I dislike that also but I was once one of those people.  I stopped in 2009.  Now my kids fine me when I curse, which is usually out of being startled not anger.
