I'm watching the starting position draw for Saturday's Derby.  What is your favorite horse?

I don't have a favorite horse, don't really follow horse racing... BUT I do like the pomp surrounding the Kentucky Derby.  I like all the hats & outfits that people wear.  :)

I haven't been following but been looking at the field the last day or so.   I like Improbable he lost to Omaha beach in his last race but was closing and he had to run a much longer and harder race (having to go outside and around). This really is a closely matched group.

Always watch Kentucky Derby.  I like Tacitus, War of Will and Code of Honor.

I am really excited about this year's Kentucky Derby.  I've been reading the notes from many notable sportswriters and watching the works on Facebook.  Of course, I've got my eye on Omaha Beach, but considering a handful of other contenders like Improbable, Game Winner, Tacitus, Tax and War of Will.

I have't picked a favorite yet.  Tacitus has the best point record.  Bob Baffert has three horses in the race.
Have a wonderful day!

I only watch to see the interesting hats.  I don't know any of the horses.

Like aflyingmonkey I am crazy about the hats and and all the pomp and circumstance with the outfits and the history of the whole thing.  But don't follow it per se or have a favorite horse.

I don't have a favorite horse but I go to the local off track betting place right in town and watch it on the big screen. I might place a $2.00 bet on it too. There is always a lot of action and fun at those places.
