Ladies: Curl or Straighten?
« on: May 03, 2019, 01:15:15 pm »
So ladies, how do you like to wear your hair? Do you straighten or curl it with an iron?  I like to curl mine but I don't always take the time to do the best job now that I'm retired. I have to be careful when I try to use a straightening iron because I can easily leave "dents" in my hair.  My daughter can use a blow dryer and a brush and make her hair look pretty good. Then she finishes her hair by using a straightening iron for several minutes. I am not that good at using the brush and dryer at the same time.  I feel clumsy when I attempt it!

I use a brush and hair dyer to do my hair.  Like you I feel clumsy while doing it but at least my hair looks decent!

Straightening hair takes way too long.

I straighten my hair most of the time but I prefer it curly. I only do it like once a year though because it takes such a long time. I have super thick, long hair so I get impatient when curling it because it is so time consuming.

I have  wash and go hair, meaning I was and condition, dry and  comb and ready to go.  I keep it pretty short but if I let it go to long in between cuts it starts to curl.  But it is so fine I  don't like it long. Rarely even when it was long  did I ever  use a styling  brush or any thing on it.  Had natural waves in it.

I have very straight limp thin hair. I've always wanted curly,  crinkled hair. It seems to have more body, definition,  and character. However,  my hair doesn't hold curls well so I tend to straighten my hair If I do either one. Grass is always greener.

My hair is short so I wear it straight most days but once in while add a little curl if I am going somewhere special.  Normally, I just wash it and let it air dryer except in the winter,

I like my hair straight...but I do not use any heat iron because it can damage my hair.
I use special hair conditioner chemicals and a good hair comb. My hair style comes perfectly straight!

I have naturally curly hair and I hate it, so I spend a lot of time trying to tame and smooth it. My mother prayed for a little girl with curly hair.

I straighten my layered bangs daily... I have wavy hair & the bangs look better straightened then every which way the natural wave takes them.

I straighten mine in the car,  it is just pulling the brush through it and holding, no flat irons.
