My niece is my hair washer-cutter-colorer-stylist.  I pay the going rate, $28 I think. She gets a more substantial tip because she does a great job and I love her,

I usually tip 3 or 4 dollars.  The haircut is between 15 and 20 dollars.  But I really don't get my haircut all that often.

I pay 35.00 for a haircut and style.  I've been going to the same hair stylist for over 25 years so many years ago he told me that I didn't need to tip him.
