Hair Color

I see people who dye their hair different colors (like blue, green, purple). Have/would you do these colors? I kinda like the blue. I may try it out.

I would not use one of these colors all-over.  However, I am thinking of getting a couple streaks in the front the next time I get my hair done.  My hair color is auburn and my hairdresser told me I would want to pick warm colors to best match with my warm hair color.

I've thought about it but I'm not sure I could pull that look off!  :-\ :-\

No why star now I have never  colored my hair. Now 76 why  worry about it now.   I started getting silver streaks in it at age 34.  It used to be dark brown and the streaks added  some effect to it. People  liked it and I just left it alone. Now I am silver with  a few dark hairs. Still looks  good so why change now. As long as it is soft and shiny that is all i care about.

I have seen all sorts of hair colors, purple, green ::) but I guess there is obvious a big market for  it so I am sure the manufacturers will keep making, I just like basic black, or brown.

If I were younger I would definitely do it, but at my age i think it would look silly and ridiculous.

Never really was a fan of the different colors and only did it for a couple of Halloweens.

I haven't done much with my hair lately, but am thinking seriously about coloring it. Maybe doing
highlights again like I used to back in the day.... lol.

What you do not know is that they are using a "temporary hair spray with a special dye".
The best way to do it is: Visit Walmart stores during Halloween season. Many colors are available:
Black, white, gray, navy blue, light blue, pink, green, purple and many more shades. The only problem
is: These cans sell fast. It is a nice way to have some fun with your hair and try different looks. After
few shampoos, you hair will go back to your natural hair color.

I have been coloring my Hair ever since I started to see Gray. I color my hair every Eight Weeks, but I only use Light Blonde.I really like that very pretty Pastel Pink that Cindy Lauper uses on her Hair. She was a Famous singer in the 80's of soft Rock Music. She now does a Commercial for a Medication, I can't remember the Name of the Medication, but her Hair is a Beautiful Pastel Pink. It would not look good on me though, but I looked like her, I would color my Hair that color. She is older than me and when she was singing back in the 80's, she would have multiple colors in her hair and that looked real good on her as well.

You really have to be strong and not let people staring at you bother you to dye your hair pink or blue I would think. I myself would not do that because I don't like to stand out in a crowd or draw attention to myself.

Age-wise, I'm passed the multicolor hair scene.

I remember when the punk rockers back in the 70's/80's started dying their hair funky colors & styles & it was so outrageous & offensive to people... now it has become normalized.   Just like ripped jeans people used to make & now it is fashionable & those pants are expensive to buy them in stores.

I personally have grown out of dying of my hair funky colors in my 20's.  But, if you want to dye your hair unnatural colors & your work permits it, dye it... it is now, in this day & age, not a big deal.  Live your best life.
