Alcohol Surveys
« on: May 16, 2019, 12:35:06 am »
I am a bit of an alcohol connoisseur, and often qualify for alcohol related surveys (in fact i received not only credit on FC for one of the surveys, but also an invitation to a 1 hour focus group that already paid me $30 on PayPal! This is not my first time doing alcohol focus groups for high pay either).

In one of these surveys I was asked if I mix fruit juice with my wine. I honestly answered no and was DQed. Ever since then, I tried this out. Turns out, it can be very good! Not only in flavor, but it is also healthier by adding nutrients to my wine (when i occasionally drink wine, drink more beer to be honest).

So even in a DQ where I got paid nothing, I actually gained in knowledge! Thought this was a cool consolation and wanted to share. Has anyone else learned information from a survey in which they benefited beyond the monetary pay out?

I get a lot of alcohol surveys too. I usually get dq'd from the beer surveys, because I only drink craft beer and not the mainstream Bud/Miller/Coors crap. I do drink a lot of wine and also was dq'd because I don't add juice to my wine. Does it sweeten it up? That's one of the reasons I drink red wine. Juice is too sweet, and I prefer the dryness of wine. I've never tried because it just sounds wrong. LoL

I always get DQ'd for all of them, I am anon-alcoholic person, granted I might drink something like a pina colada, margarita or daiquiri, maybe rum and coke when at a bar or a party, but I do not go to those often enough and beer is the most disgusting thing I have ever tried.  I do not like wine either, so for me these surveys are a wate of time

I am diabetic so I have had to give up beer and limit other alcohol. Fortunately, my diabetes is mild and under control but I want to keep it that way. I have a little red wine now and then which I cut with water. Fruit juice has too much sugar. Every other day, I might put a very small amount of liquour  in a cup of coffee for a treat and I do love my liquours.

I have heard that red wine is good for diabetes but do not know if it is true. Still I like to believe that it is.

Every so often, I qualify for a survey having to do with spirits or wine.

I usually qualify for the beer and wine one but never on the spirits.  Have not had a spirit drink in years but enjoy a occasional glass of wine or a beer.

I have not drank alcohol since 1968, but before that I had drank enough to float a battleship. One of our favorite beach party drinks was to buy a gallon of White Port wine and add a can of frozen lemonade.  I was not a connoisseur, but this was a drink for effect and no I didn't share my jug unless it was with an attractive member of the opposite sex.

I like my wine but have never tried it with fruit juice -- may have to check that out!

I have done a few alcohol surveys.   I do drink dry red wine sometimes.  I might add a little water to it but never fruit juice because I don't care for sweet tasting wine.

Very interesting.  I got a survey on about several video content companies that I had never heard of.  It has not changed my life at all.

I do not typically qualify for alcohol related surveys, but I have received some useful information from offers in the past, particularly some of the slide shows. I have researched for additional information based on what I have seen in slide shows.

Wine and fruit juice makes sense to me. Sounds like sangria, which I love, but never bother to make myself. On the note of surveys, I don't frequently qualify for alcohol related surveys, but I know that I have completed a few. I think one was about new types of flavored vodka.

Wine with fruit juice sounds pretty good, but kind of high in calories. When I drink I mix 0 calorie strawberry flavored water with Vodka. It is really tasty.

I'm a diabetic and recovering alcoholic with decades of sobriety so never qualify, but that does sound interesting

I don't really drink either, if I do it's Vodka and Cranberry or something with Vodka. I don't care for beer or wine.
