I mostly use my credit card because I get reward points when I use it for each purchase.

I use my credit card, get the cashback and pay it off.

I like using credit and earning reward points, as well.  I also like the idea that when I use my credit and manage it responsibly I improve my credit score.
Have a great day!

I almost always use my debit card, which is basically the same as cash. I try to only use my credit card for automatic payments and traveling or larger purchases.

I hear that the trend is a cashless society. And they check on you if you try and draw out a lot of cash from your account. I went to my credit union to get cash for a used car and at first they were trying to make me wait.

But there was someone standing there who said to go ahead and give it to me. Maybe it's because I have a longstanding account or plenty of money to cover it, but it did give me pause. It's my money after all.

I used to use cash a lot when I was serving but now it is mainly my debit card.

???cash or credit?

Depends on where I am spending money.

A cashless society is the goal.  And will happen after the rapture.  I won't be here so I don't care.

The thing with the money at the bank is after you go past $10,000.  One penny more and they fill out a CTR (Currency Transaction Report)

You are right in that it is YOUR money and they cannot make you wait to withdraw the money.  We have a bank that has 3 locations.  A guy wanted to buy a car for cash and he went to each location 3 days in a row and withdrew $9,999 but what he did not know what they most likely still filled that out because he done it 3 days in a row.  I am not sure why he didn't just either write a personal check (they can confirm it is good) or get a cashier's check.

A lot of people do not know this.  And if one is filled out on you I feel you have a right to know.  The point behind it is tracking people who are doing multiple cash transactions.  If you constantly deposit thousands of dollars something is up.  You would also be surprised at how many people have thousands of dollars in a lock box.  Because they are trying to hide the money.  The bank is not going to replace the money in a lock box.  It is not FDIC insured.
