The 3 countries are Japan, Uruguay and Venezuela. It's laughable because there's a lot of violence in those 3 countries, even in Japan who have strict gun control, but they get hit with sarin gas and suicide bombers and knives..

Then there were warnings from Bahrain and the UAE because they're Muslim countries and the Bahamas because they're black. Bahamas government says because the police are killing the blacks. Well maybe if blacks wouldn't do the crime and follow the police orders and not shoot at the police, they wouldn't be shot. Adrenalin is horrible in cases like this. Plus, statistics show that there are more whites killed by police than blacks. Media doesn't tell you that. As for Muslims, why would they be afraid? They are the most "protected" religion in the country.  They have their neighborhoods where no one is allowed to go, in the U.S. and in England and Germany. But the governments look the other way with the crimes.

If I sound racist, I'm not. I'm giving facts. I hate the way the media is pushing the hate. I try not to watch news anymore, only local, but gangs and drug dealers are creeping ever closer to my town, that were never done before. We were lucky to have 1 murder a year. There's already been 5. Sad what our country has become.
51 yrs from now im sure you will be mellow.

I have no interest in Traveling outside the United States. I went to Canada the other year and after going through the border patrol, I think from now on I will just stay hear. I am sick and tired of being treated like a criminal. I am not giving them the satisfaction. :cat: >:( :cat:

I disagree.  Nobody cares about ads.  I see news stories online all the time and never notice an ad.  But I do notice the headlines which are basically click bait, then stories that like I said are there only to breed anger and hate!  And it is working.
You missed the point. The new media cares about how many see the ads, because it's the reader traffic that sells more ads and pays them to run the media as well as a huge profit.

This is not about you traveling to another country. This is about people traveling to the US.

I am not missing the point.  We are talking about 2 completely different things.  The head lines and the news stories are solely to incite anger.  Nothing to do with ads.  It is like the one on yahoo today that is worded poorly and foolishly and makes it sound like it was in the US but if you read carefully you see that not only was in NOT in the US but it is just a bunch of foolishness anyway.

As far as ads, the ads only make money if people click the ad.  I would not think it would matter how many times a page with the ad was opened because it doesn't mean anybody even saw the ad.  And just because I click a story and it gets a hit doesn't mean I read it.  I have got til most times I don't even go past the click bait headline.

It's the same with lately, especially with the shootings, they ALWAYS mention race if the shooter is white.  If the shooter is black there is no mention.  If the shooter is mexican they call them white.

The same with people shot by police.  If the person shot is black it is all over the news and black man shot.  But if the police shoot a white person there is NO mention of what color skin the person shot has and it barely is even mentioned on the news.  There have been 4 officer involved shootings in my county.  All 4 that were shot were white.  Other than one quick news story that is all that was ever said.  You couldn't get info on it if you tried.

No you don't sound racist.  You sound like somebody that is stating facts and speaking the truth.

I also find it laughable that a country that is shooting it's own people in the street, starving them to death, and refusing to let them leave the country would say not to travel to the US because it is unsafe.

It makes common sense to me that people would be hesitant to travel to the US because things have changed alot within the past 3 years.

I also have no desire to travel internationally.  It isn't just that the people within the US are divided (Republicans and Democrats) but we've made sure that people from other countries feel unwelcome.

When I say "WE" I mean certain people in political positions who are able to influence others.
Have a great day!

I would appreciate warnings about traveling to countries where my race was targeted. I receive warnings, at my day job, about dozens of countries where violence levels are higher. The US travel warnings are not terribly surprising, especially when I read some of the racist and bigoted responses to this post. Not sure how someone could read/absorb the news and not see the El Paso shooting as racially motivated when the shooter admitted/confessed to "targeting Mexicans" and "I wanted to kill as many Mexicans as possible" unless they were locked in to Fox news. Just a partial list of News sources that had this information includes: the BBC, Associated Press, MSNBC, USA Today, CBS, NBC, and Reuters (CNN did too but they are just as twisted and biased as Fox news-accept they go in the opposite direction).

I didn't see the article or the headline, but the US has areas I wouldn't want to visit either. So I'll just stay here in my little Florida town.

There is no one making sure people from other countries feel unwelcome.  People do however have a problem with illegals who come in to the country illegally.  We are talking about 2 completely different things.
