Applebees

We used to eat at Applebees often.  The service went down hill so it has been quite a while since we have been there.  I loved their riblets.

When I was a kid, my parents always used to take us to Applebees. My sister and I would always get the shakes as a drink. The food there was good, but I have no been in a long time.

I saw a commercial the other day and the meals they were showing looked delicious. Makes me want to hit an applebees for dinner soon!

We used to like Applebees a lot but the one by us got pretty run-down. Keep giving them another chance every couple of years but the food always tastes like they're trying to hide the fact it's microwaved by dumping a ton of salt on it.

We used to consistently eat at Applebees about 3 or 4 times a month, but that stopped about 4 years ago. Our daughter worked there and it was about the only time that we got to actually see her! She was on a few crews who went to train the staffs in new store openings over the years.


She moved from Ohio to Florida in November of 2015 and we still go to Applebees occasionally, but not nearly as often since she is no longer working in our local store. It may have had to do with her being a server there, but we never had bad food or bad service other than one time after she left.


Different franchise, but she is still with the company in Florida and is finishing up training as we speak to start her new position as an assistant GM.

My husband and I went to Applebees a few times.  We really liked it but for some reason we don't go there much at all. 

We have our favorite places that we go to more often than other restaurants.  Maybe I'll bring it up the next time we're out and about trying to decide where to go for lunch. 

If I remember correctly, the first time I heard of an under 300 calorie dish was from Applebees.  I also believe I've had the under 300 calorie lunch a couple of times.

i havent been to applebees in a long time but the chicken strip salad and honey chicken strips sounds like they owould be good to try.

Thanks for the heads-up. That sounds delicious.  I may have to try it one of these days.  I have not been there in over a year.

I always forget that there is an Applebees in this town.  LOL  I think they are  expensive. Definitely out of my normal route.  It does sound good for a change of pace.

I'm not a big fan of Applebee's. They don't have many vegetarian options and they're overpriced for what you get. I'd much rather go local restaurants with better quality and more vegetarian options.

I have only been to Applebees once in my life.  There really is not one close to me.  And when we have been near one there are other places I would rather go.  Just was not impressed with it.
