FC Survey disappointment

I did a survey today that said it was 23 mins.  I usually don't like trying surveys that are long but this one stated it paid over $4.  Well 25 mins came and went and finally after 45 mins. I finished and it said "Congratulations you have earned 0.12 cents"

Sorry for your disappointment.  I've had that happen more than I can remember.  Most of us who take surveys experience the same or similar thing.  Like you, I usually don't try or at least begin to try any lengthy surveys. 

Sometimes even that is not accurate.  A survey with an estimated time of completion of 10 minutes could be closer to a half hour. 

I hope you can shake off the cyber dust and give it another try.  Your next experience may be the very one you're looking for.

Well, after that disappointment I did get an quick and interesting one that paid .75.  So today wasn't a total loss. LOL

I did one today and it took just as long, and at the end it only gave me one cent, staying on that survey for a long time and it paid one cent. A waste of my time. the other day i did the coupons and it didn't pay me, it was on the 9th, I put in a  ticket stating when I did the coupons and it didn't pay me, then i saw a note saying some surveys will not pay.

i've had that happen, too, but it was because they "overlapped" or "looped" surveys...IOW, you didn't qualify for the $4 survey so it kept trying to find a survey you would qualify for and when you complete it, you get the $.12 because that's what the survey paid. I hate those. It's not fair to us.

Because of the many disappointments that I have had taking surveys, I no longer attempt any survey over 20 minutes and even then, I think twice.

The problem is not just with FC. I have had survey disappointments and frustrations on all my sites and I am on several.

That happened (not to the same degree) to me yesterday with Tap -- I clicked on a 5 minute survey that was .35  -- 20 minutes later I completed the same survey I started and received .08.  Disappointing, yes.  Bright side -- I qualified for today's PTC. Its  frustrating for sure, but I suppose that is "just the way it is".  Overall, I am quite pleased with the dollars I earn here and its great to be able to vent about the fails and rejoice about the highs here (and earn $3 for doing so).

That also happened to me with Tap Research. The Survey was supposed to pay $1.38. I completed the whole Survey and it said you have earned eight cents. This has never happened to me before with Tap. I was so shocked and disappointed.

That is absolutely disappointing. I have had my share of surveys where there is a discrepancy between the announced reward and the actual reward received. That is why like you, I do not typically attempt surveys with long time estimates. I try to stick with surveys with time estimates of 10 or fewer minutes.

I'm sorry that happened. Just a day in the life of taking surveys for cents haha but we can't complain too much since they do warn about the crediting and all. Always we are getting paid to basically do nothing so.

That's frustrating, annoying, exasperating, and maddening.  Its happened to me too.

Oh wow, that sucks a lot. Sometimes you click into a survey, get disqualified, and they give you a new survey that's worth less (without telling you). There's really no way to prevent it from happening.

That is infuriating and disappointing but at least it paid you 0.12 cents, It would have been worse if at the end would tell you you have DQ and paid you 0.01 cent, that happened to me before a few years back.  It is frustrating

Today I had one that was supposed to pay $1.30 and lasted 12 minutes, Told thank you hit Continue to get credit and when I did it just stayed on the please wait loop for over 15 minutes.  Needless to say it did not pay  very sad
