It's not Halloween yet but honestly IDC if anyone has an issue with me decorating this early or doing anything this early that's holiday-related. I like enjoying the holidays and you can't fully enjoy that if you have to do a bunch of other stuff now can you?

We will decorate for Christmas in a much smaller manner this year as we have down-sized.  Our new rental house is small so we have no room for our Christmas tree.  I will have to see what I can find for tiny spaces.

Yes.  I hate it when stores have xmas stufff out in August.  Drives me crazy.  Why can't they have it out the day after Thanksgiving?

That's when most start to decorate, which means they would need to buy them before then. I bought a few things a couple weeks back that I won't use until after Thanksgiving. People plan differently.

There are stores that had Christmas decorations  out early in July.  Christmas has become so commercialized.   They have taken the goodness and fun out it.

It's up to the individual and how they feel about it but the stores are getting into it earlier and earlier.  I start after Thanksgiving and keep it up until a bit after the first of the year.

I don't decorate until after Thanksgiving but it's your decision to make when you want to start decorating and/or playing music.

So what does Santa, reindeer, mistletoe, xmas trees etc have to do with Jesus BD?
And if 12/25 is cold rainy season in Bethlehem, kinda strange shepards would be out with their flocks as bible said.El Nino existed then?

Oh i forgot to mention.Only 2 birthdays mentioned in bible and both ended up as executions.John the Baptist being 1 of them.Jesus NEVER mentions command to celebrate his BD and bible gives NOOO indication of the date.

Gladly will supply references from the good book on what is presented here as MANY of u might not be aware of,especially to those that say they are familiar with the bible but are probably reading <who knows>!!
Why Fear God, Not Men?

“TREMBLING at men is what lays a snare, but he that is trusting in Jehovah will be protected.” (Proverbs 29:25) With these words the ancient proverb alerts us to the kind of fear that is indeed a mental poison—the fear of man. It is likened to a snare. Why? Because a small animal, like a rabbit, is helpless when it is caught in a snare. It wants to run away, but the snare holds it relentlessly. The victim is, in effect, paralyzed.

If we are seized by the fear of man, we are a lot like that rabbit. We may know what we should do. We may even want to do it. But fear holds us in thrall. We are paralyzed and unable to act.

Little to early for me but if you want to go right ahead.  It is your home and you can do what you want.  Did get most of my shopping done though.  Will decorate the weekend after Thanksgiving but the outside lights go up any time now when we have a decent day.
