Not a huge fan of halloween.  My granddaughter, who is staying with us, is and is very disappointed that there is quite a bit of snow today.  She wanted snow any other day but not today.

Thank you very much! I so love Halloween but, sadly, am not celebrating it this year. My son is off at college, my daughter is partying with business associates, my wife is at a late night business meeting and dinner. Just me, the dogs and a project that needs to be completed by tomorrow. So I am sitting behind two large computer screens in a completely dark house listening to my dogs snore and the occasional, unanswered ring of my doorbell. I do not even have candy to hand out and can not leave our new puppy by himself to go to the store. My wife's meeting started early so I needed to take a half day off which coincided with trick or treating at our company (fourteen floors of costumed kids, candy and a complete lack of production).

We've enjoyed it every year but this one.  Too busy packing and moving stuff into storage.  I always really enjoyed decorating and treating the neighborhood kids. :pumpkin:

Happy Halloween!     I have a bowl of candy on the porch so people can help themselves... fortunately I live in a neighbor where they don't steal all the candy including the bowl -- happened to both of my siblings in another city.   So far just three big groups, it's 7:25 pm here & it's windy & a school night, so I'm thinking I'm nearing the end of the trick-or-treating. It's quiet outside, & most of the porches are dark.
