I'm Furious over Tap Research

Did a Qualtrics survey. It was a long one and it took me more than 10 minutes even though Tap Research said 10 minutes and it was a mix of information and questions. about technology and politics...completed the survey and it went back to my reward congratulations. Wow!!! I got a whole PENNY. Really? That's ridiculous. I did send a support ticket to Tap but I noticed they never answered my last one from 10/29.  If they're going to start only paying a penny for a 10-15 minute survey, then I'll be done with them, too.  >:( >:( >:(

There were a few times recently where I completed a TAP survey and only received a penny as well. It's very frustrating. I'm hoping it was just a fluke or something.

Exactly!  We all get frustrated, but it is best to just shake it off and move on.  There are many others willing to take that penny.

Then you may as well quit.  This is how the survey game works.  Support tickets are worthless and won't be answered.  I have never tried to contact TAP.  I did contact FC and they basically told me to concentrate on other parts of the site if I was having trouble getting paid for surveys.  But there are no other parts of the site to make money on. ;(

I don't pay attention to the time on the surveys because it is never correct.  It can say 2 minutes and it will take half an hour.  TAP doesn't pay very well.  Most are just a few pennies.  I have taken surveys with them that took almost an hour and get 27 cents.  And they wonder why people don't give 100% full attention to the survey.

Don't be mad at TAP, be mad at Qualtrics. I have had this happen many times with Qualtrics on several different sites. Qualtrics surveys are usually interesting and even fun, but always long. I attempt on more than one site. Most of the time, I complete and get credit but now and then, I have an experience like yours.

It does not stop me from trying the next Qualtrics.

it happens... you can get mad or just accept that it happens and move on to other surveys.... you get more good surveys than bad so I just move on

I have had my share of experiences where I get only a penny for long surveys. I know it's frustrating, but I try to move on as quickly as possible and try to make it up on the next survey.

It happens, getting mad is not worth it.  Just keep moving on, TAP does not pay high but they are pretty reliable, most of the times.

I don't know how to go directly to the company behind the site.  Maybe I need to contact the one that NEVER works and ALWAYS ends with opps something went wrong.  I see them thru TAP.  I don't have an account with TAP so I am not sure how to contact them about a survey thru FC.  They will tell me to contact FC.  And you are correct about support tickets.  I have one that is from prob 4 months ago.  It was escalated to highest priority probably 2 months ago.  Still do not have a reply.  I opened another one a few weeks ago for an issue I am having and trying to see what the problem is.  No answer.  I don't guess I will open another one.  Kind of pointless.

Then you need to eliminate them all because no survey pays very much.  I remember someone trying to get me to join a site thru their referral and they were like oh you may spend 20 minutes just trying to qualify for a survey but when you do it pays really well.  I mean it will pay like 50 cents.  smh  I just looked at him.  In what world is 50 cents really good?  This isn't the 1800's.

Yes you never know it does happen. Just brush it off and move on. The next survey you do may pay hopefully. I did 3 on here yesterday hoping to do that on here today.
